Five telehealth start-up tips

Implementing telehealth services can seem daunting. With all the factors to consider, hospital administrators and provider often are unsure of where or how to start.
Chief Operations Officer LeRoy Dickenson from Cloud County Health Center in Concordia shares his top tips and experience in successful telehealth implementation:

1. Make telehealth a part of your strategic plan.
2. Show specialists the benefits of telehealth. 
3. Let specialists train nurses.
4. Plan for six to eight months from idea to implementation.
5. Involve providers in planning purposes.
