WorkSmart Workshop Helps Recruit and Retain Rural Providers

The Kansas Recruitment and Retention Center is hosting a WorkSmart Workshop specifically designed to help rural health care organizations recruit and retain providers.


Workshop participants will:

  • Learn about the newest education and training model that KU Medical Center is employing for its students.
  • Find out how to recruit and retain health care providers by using state and federal funds including National Health Service Corps, Kansas Bridging Plan and the Kansas State Loan Repayment program.
  • Leave with a retention plan that meets requirements for state and federal programs.
  • Get valuable insight on improving organizational culture.

The workshop will be Tuesday, June 21, 2016, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at KU School of Medicine -Wichita, 1010 N. Kansas in Wichita.
