Rural Health Education and Services is hosting a Rural Health Care Marketing Workshop

Rural Health Education and Services will present a Rural Health Care Marketing Workshop on August 2 and 3, 2016 in Wichita. The workshop is designed to give rural Kansas health care professionals tips on how to incorporate marketing strategies into their practices.

Day one of the workshop is specifically designed for individuals with minimal marketing experience who could benefit from ideas on how to accomplish some basic marketing strategies with small budgets and little to no staff.

Day two of the workshop will feature advanced topics in marketing for a wide audience. Guest speakers will share on topics such as social media, survey insights, health care provider recruitment and media relations. Key note speaker and pediatrician, Dr. Natasha Burgert, will start the day off by sharing how she promotes and optimizes digital technology within a traditional medical office.

The Rural Health Care Marketing Workshop is hosted and presented by The University of Kansas Medical Center and Rural Health Education and Services. Partial funding for this project is provided by the United Methodist Health Ministry Fund, a philanthropy based in Hutchinson.

Workshop space is limited. To register, visit http://bit.ly/rhmkt. For questions, email Jenifer Yuza or call 316.293.2649.
