KU Medical Center dean visits Pittsburg area

Sally Maliski, Ph.D., dean of the University of Kansas School of Nursing, traveled to Pittsburg, Kansas on October 6, 2016, to learn more about the southeast part of the state and the people who live in the area.

Rural Medical Interest Group supports Kansas rural health

The Rural Medical Interest Group (RMIG) was founded in 2007 with the goal to promote rural medicine among the student body. RMIG is currently the largest student interest group at KU Medical Center. Membership is open to all students at any University of Kansas medical school who are interested in rural medicine, regardless of specialty interest.
