Family Medicine Wichita Winter Symposium

The 36th Annual Family Medicine Winter Symposium is designed to present new and updated topics useful to practicing family physicians and other primary care clinicians, with special emphasis on refining diagnostic and therapeutic skills.

Topics include neurofibromatosis, substance abuse in the older population, sports physicals for adolescents, USPSTF women's health recommendations, restless legs syndrome, common problems for the patient on chemotherapy, USPSTF recommendations on aspirin for prevention of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events, CDC guidelines for prescribing opioids for chronic pain, COPD treatments and care, hospital care, prenatal care, gastroenterology topics, low testosterone, menopausal symptoms, abnormal vaginal bleeding, peripheral neuropathies, use of psychotropics in pregnancy, dry eye syndrome, workshop on x-ray reading, and more.
