KU Cancer Center Facebook challenge

The University of Kansas Cancer Center recently launched a Facebook campaign with the goal to increase its number of Facebook followers. Leading up to a National Cancer Institute (NCI) site visit in February, the Cancer Center wants to grow its online community by 10,000 followers in order to spread the word about the latest news, including research, patient treatment and clinical trials.

The campaign is centered around the role of social media and how it can be a helpful asset when it comes to your health. By sharing information, followers have the opportunity to make an impact on their community’s health.
