  • June 6-8, 2017 - Kansas Immunization Conference Location: Tony's Pizza Event Center 800 The Midway Salina, Kansas This conference is designed to provide all members of the health care team with practical information they can use to enhance their ability to provide clear, concise, consistent and accurate messaging to patients and family regarding immunizations.

  • June 8, 2017 - ECHO Pain Management - Physical Examination Location: Kansas City, Kansas This Kansas ECHO pilot will focus on medical, pharmacological and psychological considerations to enhance patient functioning and quality of life.  Using secure, easy-to-use videoconferencing technology an environment of group learning with best practice protocols is established with practices across the state.  These protocols help reduce variation in care and improve outcomes for patients experiencing chronic pain across the lifespan. 
  • June 13, 20, 27, July 11, 18 - Older Adults Cluster Series Location: Online This webinar series will address common health care concerns and decisions that will impact the 55+ older generation.
  • June 17, 2017 - 21st Annual Leonard F. Peltier, M.D., Ph.D., Orthopedic Lectureship Location: Kansas City, Kansas This program covers the application of LEAN principles and the Toyota Production System to musculoskeletal health. There will be a focus on the use of multidisciplinary conferences to aid in patient optimization prior to adult spinal deformity surgery. This will also provide a forum for senior resident presentations of completed research projects and junior resident presentations of unique orthopedic cases.
  • June 22, 2017 - Digestive Disease Week (DDW 2017 Highlights Dinner Program)  Location: Sheraton Overland Park, Kansas This program is designed for practicing physicians who cannot attend Digestive Disease Week (DDW) and would like to receive an update on the event. Each topic will include a presentation and discussion of 10-12 clinically important and seminal abstracts presented during DDW 2017 in Chicago, IL, followed by an interactive question/answer session discussing recent relevant issues in gastrointestinal diseases for clinical gastroenterologists.
